As a natural resource, the oyster industry provides thousands of jobs and generates billions of dollars for economies across the Gulf of Mexico and the world. Tragically, 85 percent of the world's oyster population has been destroyed over the last 100 years. Hurricanes, man-made disasters, pollution, and overharvesting are just a few of the causes wreaking havoc worldwide. We are committed to grow and deploy billions of oysters annually to replenish the reefs along the Gulf Coast, protecting our shores, our homes, and our way of life.
